That is the fee, it’s the price of doing business, and we strongly, strongly encourage you that you take that fee, because these days, clients want to pay with their card. They want to use those points on their card, or they want to be able to split the payments up and pay with credit, and if you don’t take cards, you potentially are missing out on a sale. It is very rare these days for personal clients, that we are getting checks from them.
So, PayPal and Square, those are the two that we strongly recommend. They share a lot of features, but definitely look into them. They’re totally free to sign up with for you to be a vendor.

People, no matter if it’s for an image consulting service, or a speaking engagement, they have to pay in advance to get access to me and to my time. Second, I never, ever offer any kind of discounts for my payments. I find that very important; I have a daily reminder just here behind me that says, “Don’t be cheap. Be the best, instead, always.”
[00:02:30] From a practical point of view, I offer credit card and PayPal payments via my website, and due to the fact that I work with a lot of companies or conferences, I also have to offer bank transfer and still, checks. I never, ever take any money and the form of cash. I find it’s not professional to do so, and I just can assume that some image consultants do that, still, because you have to pay fees for all other transactions that are online, like credit card and Paypal, but to be very honest, if you struggle with those fees you have to pay for the credit card transaction, or via PayPal, you might consider to think about your general fees you offer your service, because it must be easy for you to eat those fees.
